The Department's description
Exterior description and setting
A two-storey gabled building of red brick to the ground floor and rendered finish above, designed in a form of Gothic style with pointed arched openings to openings on the entrance front. Later single-storey projecting from entrance front, with flat roof. Ledged timber front door and original-looking timber frames and glazing bars to entrance front windows but windows modernised to rear.
Setting: the building stands facing a main road within the built-up area of the village, with early 20th century houses to each side.
Historical information
Appears on OS map of 1921, as Redhall Masonic Lodge, but did not appear on OS map of 1902.
