The Department's description

Extensive former bleach mill comprising single-storey buildings of random rubble (19th C) and brick (20th C), now largely roofless, but with vestiges of slate and corrugated asbestos roofs. Squat tapered red-brick chimney with metal ties around. Head and tailraces are intact, but all plant removed (inc possible turbine). No machinery remaining.

Partial survey only has been carried out due to the poor state of repair of the buildings which are now of little architectural merit.
