The Department's description

Steel truss single-span girder bridge carries single-lane road over Faughan River to facilitate access to adjoining factory. Each truss comprises paired triangulated steel angle-irons from the bottoms of which are hung I-beam transoms supporting the concrete deck. The trusses are also braced across their tops and their ends rest on concrete abutments. Small girder spans on concrete piers also carry pipes across the river immediately up- and downstream of this bridge. Stone abutments alongside the concrete ones indicates position of previous bridge.

Partial survey only carried out as the bridge does not possess the criteria to warrant a Second Survey.

Partial Survey Only - While of local interest, this structure is not among the best examples of the type and is not of special architectural and historic interest.

Partial survey only carried out as the bridge does not possess the criteria to warrant a Second Survey.
