The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on a gently undulating landscape. A windmill in use is marked on the 1839 and 1925 eds of the OS 6-inch map. This is an ivy-covered conical tower (int. diam. of base c. 5m; ext. diam. c. 7m) of three floors with opposing doorways at E and W. There are two windows on each floor, and there is a foundation stone, now illegible, over the E doorway. The corn-drying kiln is just to the N.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
