The National Monuments Service's description
Indicated as a small tree-ring on the 1839 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, it is situated on a level landscape. The cropmark of a circular enclosure (diam. c. 20m) defined by a continuous fosse feature is visible on aerial photograph (CUCAP: AVK 75) from July 1969. Rath (WX052-005----) is c. 110m to the NW.
