The National Monuments Service's description

Located on a rise in a gently undulating landscape. Archaeological testing (00E0630) excavated a small hearth (dims 0.72m x 0.5m; D 0.14m) and a small pit (dims 0.34m x 0.31m; D 015m) c. 4m distant. The pit and surrounding area produced pottery of a Neolithic character. (Purcell 2000, 2002)
