The National Monuments Service's description
Marked as a circular embanked enclosure (ext. diam. c. 60m) only on the 1839 ed. of the OS 6- inch map, and situated on a fairly level landscape that is at the head of a valley that opens out to the NE. It is not visible at ground level in a root crop and pasture but the headwaters of a small SW-NE stream bisect it.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
