The National Monuments Service's description

Located towards the head of a slight SW-NE valley. This is an oval area of burnt and cracked stones (dims. 10m x 8m) visible when the area is ploughed. An old stream bed is adjacent and burnt mound (WX040-070002-) is c. 60m to the E.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
