The National Monuments Service's description
Situated towards the W edge of the plateau of a NW-SE spur in the foothills of the Blackstairs Mountains with the NW-SE Boro River c. 500m to the SW. This is a subcircular grass-covered area (dims. 38.5m E-W; 35m N-S) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 4-5m; int. H 0.9m at N to1.6m at E; ext. H 1.4m at N to 2m at W) with some bushes but with no visible fosse. There are entrances at NNW (Wth 2m) and SSE (Wth 2.2m). Rath (WX024-006----) is c. 130m to the SE.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
