The National Monuments Service's description

Marked faintly as a circular feature (diam. c. 60m) on the 1839 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and situated on a shelf at the bottom of a NE-facing slope and overlooking a S-N stream that curves W just N of the location. No feature is visible at ground level in a root crop.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
