The National Monuments Service's description
Located on a gentle E-facing slope. This is a circular area (diam. 32m NNE-SSW; 30m WNW-ESE) planted with coniferous trees defined by an earthen bank (Wth 2.5m; int. H 0.5m; ext. H 1.4m at SE to Wth 4.2-6.8m; int. H 1-1.2m; ext. H 1.2-1.8m generally). The site was altered, probably when it was planted with trees. There is no visible fosse. There is an entrance gap at N but the original entrance (Wth 4m) is at E.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
