The National Monuments Service's description

Located towards the bottom of the S-facing slope of Carrigroe Hill, with a small NE-SW stream c. 70m to the S. A small circular feature (diam. c. 20m) within a triangular area (max. dims c. 55m NNE-SSW; c. 35m WNW-ESE) and described as a graveyard is depicted only on the 1839 edition of the OS 6-inch map. It was called 'Teampall Cille Brighde' according to J. O'Donovan writing c. 1840 but was even then almost forgotten (Herity 2014, 75), and it may be the site of the parish church of Kilbride which has no other ecclesiastical site within its bounds. (Ó Crualaoich and Mac Giolla Chomhghaill 2014, 1076)
