The National Monuments Service's description
This site was excavated (E3495) during 2005 as part of Site 34 of the N11 Gorey to Arklow link. Situated on the lower SW-facing slope of Ask Hill. A pit (dims 0.5m-2.2m E-W; 0.23-1.2m; D 0.4-0.5m) had been re-cut four times, and had contained a fire at least twice. Fulacht fia (WX007-068001-) is c. 20m to the SSW. (Stevens 2008)
