The National Monuments Service's description

Marked as circular embanked enclosure (ext. diam. c. 40m) on the 1839 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and situated towards the bottom of a N-facingl slope of Annagh Hill above a SE-NW spur. Aerial photograph (CUCAP, BGF 10) shows the cropmark of a rectangular enclosure (int. dims. c. 30m NE-SW; c. 30m NW-SE) with two parallel fosses (Wth c. 2m) or a wide moat (Wth c. 6m). It is not visible at ground level.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
