The National Monuments Service's description
A deposit (Wth 0.52m; D 0.06m) of seven pieces of brushwood, one piece deep, and an enigmatic wooden component of tightly packed layers of bark and wood. The deposit is compact and irregularly laid with a number of hazel brushwood pieces penetrating the centre of the bark component. The site is situated in poorly humified Sphagnum peat. SMR WM039-291---- is located c. 4.5m to the E of SMR WM039-292----.
