The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on a slight slope, in gently undulating pasture, with extensive views to S. Not depicted on the 1837 ed. OS 6-inch map. Annotated 'fort' on the 1837 OS Fair Plan map which it is depicted as a circular-shaped enclosure. Levelled monument described in 1970 as no surface remains visible. Monument is not visible on Digital Globe aerial photography.
