The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on SE facing slope of a prominent rise in grassland, with wet land to S. Depicted as a circular shaped enclosure on the 1837 ed. OS 6-inch map but not indicated on subsequent editions of the OS maps. Public road to NE curves slightly where it intersected with the monument. This levelled site is not visible on Digital Globe aerial photograph taken November 2011. Described in 1975 as visible only as a circular raised area (approx. diam. 27m NW-SE; NE-SW 35m) which slopes gradually to the SW. A roadway running NW-SE intersects the perimeter of the site at NE; this road also forms the townland boundary with Taghmon.
