The National Monuments Service's description
This is the record for the small burnt spread and the associated pit excavated by Yvonne Whitty (E3234) on the N11 road improvement scheme. The pit contained a single find identified as a convex end scraper of Neolithic date and may represent the earliest phase of activity at the site. (Whitty 2009m)
