The National Monuments Service's description

Excavation by Audrey Gahan (02E0856) revealed a trough (dims. L 1.84m E-W; Wth 1.8m; D 0.45m) containing 'layers of burnt mound material' with a hearth located c.20m to the NW, together with a randomly scattered series of pits and post-holes (Bennett 2004, 532)
