The National Monuments Service's description
Situated in marshy level terrain. During recent drainage work the site was revealed as a low mound of very dark earth and burnt stone. Not visible at ground level. There are two other fulachta fiadh (WI012-054---- / WI012-056----) in the vicinity.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wicklow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
