The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on level ground on the E edge of a small stream. Oval mound (14m N-S; 12m E-W; H 0.7m) with an elongated oval hollow (L 7m; Wth 4m; D 0.4m) extending into the mound from the W side. When ploughed in the recent past the site was revealed as an area of very dark earth and burnt stone. There are two other fulachta fiadh (WI012-055---- / WI012-056----) in the vicinity.
