The National Monuments Service's description

In the front garden of a house in Hillview housing estate. A motte (WA031-067----) is located c. 110m to the NE. This standing stone was formerly located on the site of the house whose front garden it currently occupies, it was moved c. 15m S of its original location, when the housing estate was constructed c. 1984. The original location of the standing stone is recorded as WA031-075----.
A rectangular limestone standing stone (H above ground 1.19m; Wth 0.43m; T 0.12m) with some fossils evident. Portion of the stone is buried in the ground and there is a small raised flower bed around the base of the stone. The face currently facing SE appears to have split away leaving a relatively flat surface with evidence of spalling.
