The National Monuments Service's description
Adjacent to and S of a stream on an E-facing slope, at the foothills of the Comeragh Mountains. Formerly in poor pasture, it is currently within a forest plantation. There are two other burnt mounds (WA015-115----; WA015-118----) c. 100m to the S and c. 144m to the ENE respectively. A very low mound (dims. c. 12m x 12m; min. H 0.25m) identified in section in an E-W forestry drain and visible above ground as a very subtle mound. It is composed of fire-cracked stones and charcoal-rich soil beneath the sod.
