The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on a SW-facing slope at the E foothills of the Monavullagh Mountains, in the upper Tay river valley. Subcircular grass-covered area (dims. 34m N-S; 31m E-W) defined by a slight earthen bank best preserved downslope E-S (Wth 4m; int. H 0.4m; ext. H 1.1m), with slight traces of an external fosse (Wth 3.5m; max. D 0.5m) E-W. There is no visible entrance.
