The National Monuments Service's description
Located on a gentle N-facing, heather-covered slope at the foothills of the Comeragh Mountains. It is not recorded on any map. The foundations of four rectangular cells (int. dims. c. 5m x 6m), three with direct access to the outside, form a terrace (dims. 26m NW-SE; 7m NE-SW; H c. 0.5m) protected by an adjacent wall on all sides except the NE where there is evidence of yards extending from the houses (L 10m).
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
