The National Monuments Service's description

Towards the base of a fairly steep SW-facing slope in undulating pasture in a reclaimed field. There is no visible trace of the monument above ground. It is depicted as a irregular rectangular enclosure (diam. c. 66m N-S; c. 49m E-W) on the 1st (1840) ed. OS 6-inch map and as a raised oval area on the 1907 ed. (diam. c. 46m N-S; c. 35m E-W). There is a natural rise in the field roughly where the monument stood.
