The National Monuments Service's description
In forestry on SE-facing slope with Burncourt river located c. 100m to SE. Roughly circular ringfort (diam. 27m N-S, 26m E-W) enclosed by bank (Wth crest 1.2m, base 3.5m; int. H 0.47; ext. H 1.28m) and fosse (Wth 2.2m; D 0.28m) visible in the W quadrant. Ringfort is cut through by roadway, running N-S, in W quadrant. Interior and bank, though relatively clear of trees, is overgrown with brambles and undergrowth obscuring features. Bank denuded in SE quadrant which may be the original entrance. Bank has steep external profile. The fosse is slightly more pronounced on the W side. Gap through bank in SE quadrant.
