The National Monuments Service's description
An enclosure encircling the summit of quite a steep, roughly circular hill, situated in an area of outcrop, in rough pasture. Most of the summit is covered in thicket. The enclosure is defined in the S quadrant by a low earthen scarp (H 0.4) for a length of 18m. There is no visible trace above ground of the E and W quadrants. On the N side there is a drop (D 0.75m) due to rock outcrop which forms a terrace (L 17m). The monument is indicated as circular enclosure (diam. c. 27m N-S; c. 37m E-W) on 1st (1840) and 2nd (1907) ed. OS 6-inch map.
