The National Monuments Service's description
On fairly level ground near the top of a ridge, ground sloping gently to W, in undulating terrain, under barley. Enclosure levelled a couple of years ago (c. 1990s) according to landowner's son. The field boundaries to N and W of the enclosure have been removed. The monument is depicted as a large, roughly circular area (diam. c. 53m) on the 1st 1840 ed. OS 6-inch map enclosed by field boundaries in the N, E and W quadrants and also at a short distance to the S. By the 2nd ed. (1904-5) the field boundary to the E had been removed and the monument, enclosed by a bank, appears more sub-rectangular. There is no visible trace above ground.
