The National Monuments Service's description
Only the N wall of the bawn survives, it is located 25.55m N of Kilcash tower house (TS078-037----) and runs E-W (L 38.5m). It is constructed of sandstone rubble, roughly coursed (int. H 3.4m; ext. H 3.1m; T 1.6m). Towards the W end a gateway (Wth 3.04m) has been inserted and the internal face of the bawn wall has been removed to form a splay on either side of the entrance. At the E end, the internal face of the wall is recessed (L c. 11m), or the wall rebuilt, to accommodate a building which runs N-S within the bawn. The gabled roof of this building rests on the bawn wall.
