The National Monuments Service's description
On a SSW-facing slope at foot of Slievenamon. Farm house and yard to N of ringfort. Roughly circular area enclosed by earth and stone bank (Wth 1.4m crest, 1.8m base; int. H 0.6m; ext. H 1.05m) with evidence of later revetment both internally and externally. Large beech tree growing on bank in NE quadrant. Conifers in SE and SW quadrants and interior is heavily overgrown with brambles (dima. 21m N-S; 25m E-W based on 25-inch OS map). Some burning of rubbish in interior in NW quadrant. Stones on top of bank in NE quadrant where both inner and outer face of bank is retained by a drystone wall. There is also evidence of external revetment in N sector and internal revetment in the S sector. Driveway to house passes E side of ringfort. W half of ringfort is particularly badly overgrown. Monument modified by augmenting the bank addition of revetment, probably obscuring the original entrance feature. No visible trace of ext. fosse.
