The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, on a SE-facing slope. The enclosure is visible on an aerial photograph (GSI S. 647/6. 16/04.1974). The remains of an oval area (dims. 50m NW-SE; 60m NE-SW) enclosed by traces of a levelled bank (Wth 4.2m; int. H 0.2m; ext. H 0.2m) best defined NW-E-SSW. In the SE-SSW sector a berm (Wth 4m), the remains of a levelled scarp (Wth 13m; H 0.85m), a levelled bank (Wth 6m; int. H 0.15m; ext. H 0.5m), and a berm (Wth 7m) to an outermost scarp (Wth 0.4m; H 0.45m) are visible. Portion of the bank (Wth 5.2m; int. H 0.5m; ext. H 0.95m) is incorporated into a field boundary SW-N-E. The latter has two gaps to facilitate gates, one (Wth 1.5m) at the W and the other (Wth 3m) at the NNE. An external fosse or ditch (basal Wth 2.35m; total Wth 5.35m; D 0.4m) is visible where the bank is incorporated in a field boundary from NW-E, with traces of a fosse visible W-NW. The interior is incorporated into the pasture field. There is a large erratic stone with natural depressions c. 1.5m to the S and another erratic rock in the interior in the NNE sector.
