The National Monuments Service's description

In ungrazed meadow, on flood plain of River Suir. Sub-oval area (dims. 24m NE-SW; 22m NW-SE) defined by gentle scarp (Wth 2.6m; H 0.55m) which is best defined W-N and levelled out N-W. Possible remains of fosse (overall Wth 4.25m; basal Wth 0.9m; D 0.15m) evident W-N. Interior uneven. Modern field boundary (long axis NW-SE) is at a tangent to SW.
