The National Monuments Service's description
Within the interior of a barrow (TS059-112001-), in the N quadrant. A raised semi-circular area (dims. 9m N-S; 10m E-W) defined by scarp (Wth 1.1m; H 0.35m) from NE-S-NW and by the scarp of the barrow from NW-N-NE, with an well defined, yet narrow fosse (Wth 1.95m; D 0.15m) from NE-S-NW. The interior is uneven and there is a slight curvilinear depression from NE-S concentric with scarp and c. 1.4m from scarp.
