The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, on a low rise. A roughly circular area (dims. 39m NE-SW; c. 38m NW-SE) defined by a levelled bank (Wth at top 1.8m; overall Wth 10.65m; int. H 0.35m; ext. H 4.3m) which has been reduced to a steep scarp (Wth 5.6m; H 4.3m). There is an entrance (Wth 3.5m) at the ESE. The exterior and top of the scarp are covered in vegetation. The grass-covered interior has a gentle SW-facing slope. The 1840 edition OS 6-inch map depict a wide fosse enclosing the monument with an outer bank. On the 1904 edition the outer bank appears to have been incorporated in a field boundary. All the surrounding field boundaries have been removed, except that abutting the SE quadrant. Both OS 6-inch maps also depict a mound (TS059-060001-) in the interior, off-centre to the N.
