In wet grassland on an E-facing slope of rising ground in upland region with good views in all directions. Ringfort consists of a circular area (diam. 28m N-S; 30m E-W) enclosed by an earth and stone bank (int. H 0.2m; ext. H 0.7m) which has been mainly reduced to a scarp (H 0.8m) with remains of an outer fosse (base Wth 2.5m; top Wth 4m; ext. D 0.3m) visible from E through S to W only. No entrance feature visible gaps in bank at SE (Wth 3m) and W (Wth 2m) may be just livestock gaps. Bank intersected by a field boundary at SW and E as shown on latest ed. OS 6-inch map.
