The National Monuments Service's description
In grassland on low rise of ground with steep ravine immediately to the NW in upland region with good views in all directions. Depicted as an oval-shaped enclosure (approx. diam. 37m N-S; 30m E-W) on the 1903 ed. OS 6-inch map, with E side of enclosure acting as a field boundary between two small fields. Not visible at ground level. Enclosure was probably levelled when the three field boundaries which ran up to the monument were removed.
