The National Monuments Service's description

In grassland atop low rise of ground with good views in all directions. Nearby ringfort (TS053-022----) visible 130m to NE. Conjoined ringfort (TS053-021----) to N. This larger circular ringfort (int. diam. 25m N-S; 27m E-W) is enclosed by an earth and stone bank (top Wth 1m; base Wth 2.8m; int. H 0.4m; ext. H0.9m) reduced to a scarp at W with outer fosse (base Wth 2m; top Wth 4m; ext. D 0.3m) which encloses both enclosures. It accesses the northern ringfort via a causewayed entrance gap (Wth 3m) at NE. Both enclosures are contained within a small rectangular field as depicted on 1953-4 ed. OS 6-inch map. This field boundary intersects the outer face of the enclosing bank of both enclosures at E on a N-S axis destroying the outer fosse.
