In tillage field on an E-facing slope of N-S ridge in undulating countryside with good views in all directions. Ringfort consists of a slightly raised circular area (int. diam. 23m N-S; 34m E-W) enclosed by an earth and stone bank (top Wth 1.4m; base Wth 2.7m; ext. H 1.7m; int. H 0.2-0.5m) and wide outer fosse (top Wth 7m; base Wth 3.5m; ext. D 0.6m) best visible at S. Causewayed gap (Wth 2.2m) in bank at SE may be original entrance feature. Bank and outer fosse is intersected at N from NW through N to E by a townland boundary running E-W which destroys N quadrant of enclosure.
