The National Monuments Service's description
In grassland atop low rise of ground with good views in all directions. Nearby ringfort (TS053-022----) visible 130m to NE. Well-preserved ringfort conjoined with an enclosure (TS053-021001-) to the S. Ringfort consists of a sightly raised circular area (int. diam. 20m N-S; 26m E-W) enclosed by an earth and stone bank (top wth 1.7m; base Wth 3.5m; int. H 0.4m; ext. H. 0.8m) reduced to a scarp at E and S and outer fosse (top Wth 3m; base Wth. 1.5m) with entrance gap (Wth 2.5m) at NE. Larger conjoined enclosure is accessed via a causewayed entrance gap (Wth 3m) at SW. Both enclosures are contained within a small rectangular field as depicted on 1953-4 ed. OS 6-inch map. This field boundary intersects the outer face of the enclosing bank of both enclosures at E on a N-S axis destroying the outer fosse.
