The National Monuments Service's description

Surveyed by ADS in 2006 and described as measuring in width 3.1-3.2m, depth 0.12-02m, length 30m. The togher was not dated. Described by Whitaker (2006, 73) as ‘this short possible togher was visible at two sightings, in the drain faces, and was orientated northwest- southeast. It was composed of transversely laid roundwood and brushwood elements that were orientated northeast-southwest and were in a good state of preservation. The elements were densely laid and measured 0.02 to 0.06m in diameter. The peat was composed of poorly humified Sphagnum-rich peat with moderate Calluna and Eriophorum inclusions’.
