The National Monuments Service's description

Recorded by ADS in 2006 and described as a class 1 togher measuring in Width 0.2-1.57m, Depth 0.07-0.18m, Length 210m. This togher was not dated. Described by Whitaker (2006, 64-5) as a ‘plank trackway was visible, on the field surface and in the drain faces, at eleven sightings across the northwestern part of Littleton Bog. The trackway was orientated east-west and was composed mainly of longitudinally laid single planks supported by interspersed transverse planks and roundwoods. The trackway was in a poor to moderate state of preservation, as it had been exposed to machine damage at numerous locations along its length.
TI-LTNO06a, 223410,158781, Width 0.7m, Depth 0.18m The western extent of the trackway was exposed in the drain face, 0.7m below the field surface. It was composed of a large longitudinally laid plank underlain by a small amount of brushwood. The wood was dried out where exposed in the drain face and the plank had split in the centre but was in a good state of preservation within the peat. The plank measured 0.56m in width and 0.1m in depth. The brushwoods had an average diameter of 0.04m’ (Whitaker 2006, 64-5).
