The National Monuments Service's description

Surveyed by ADS in 2006 and described as measuring in width 3.3-5.7m, Depth 0.18-0.22m, Length 35m. The togher was dated 360BC-50AD. Described by Whitaker (2006, 70) as ‘this togher was visible at three sightings, in the drain faces, across the northern side of Littleton Bog, in proximity to a high density of sites. The togher was orientated northwest-southeast and was composed of transversely laid roundwood and brushwood elements supported by similar longitudinally laid elements. No longitudinal elements were visible in TI-LTN010c, but this may be due to the angle at which the machinery truncated the togher at this location. For the most part, this togher is located below the field surface and is therefore moderately to well preserved, but some of the wood is exposed on the field surface’.
