The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on the NE-facing slope of an E-W ridge in an upland area with a nearby ringfort (TN034-089) to the S. A raised circular area enclosed by an earth and stone bank (Wth 2m; int. H 0.2m; ext. H 1-2m) mainly reduced to a scarp with a causewayed entrance (Wth 3.5m) at NE. A small bullaun stone (1984) is embedded in the bank beside the entrance. There are the possible wall-footings of a circular hut site (diam. 4.5m) in the NE sector of the interior beside the entrance.
