The National Monuments Service's description
Located in wet pastureland in gently undulating terrain sloping to SE. Marsh at base of slope directly E. Site levelled but still clearly visible as circular enclosure (31.5m N-S to field boundary ditch on N side of field bank; 31.5m E-W) defined by much flattened bank (W 3.5m; int. H 0.14m; ext. H 0.27m). Site truncated in S quad. by field boundary running E-W. Quarry hollow immediately NE of site. Site depicted as square-sided U-shaped earthwork with limekiln immediately to N on 1st (1840) ed. OS 6-inch map and as a roughly square-shaped enclosure on 2nd (1901-05) ed. Based on depictions of site on OS 6-inch maps this site cannot be definitely classified as ringfort.
