The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on flat poorly drained grassland with good views in all directions. Bowl-barrow (TN015-024----) in field 128m to NE and fulacht fiadh (TN015-124----) to S. Impressive well preserved ring-barrow (overall diam. 60m N-S) consisting of a low circular mound (diam. 23m N-S; H 0.1m) enclosed by a shallow inner fosse (base Wth 4m; top Wth 7m; ext. D 0.1m), earthen bank (top Wth 2.8m; base Wth 9m; ext. H 0.4m), waterlogged outer fosse (base Wth 2.3m; top Wth 4.6m; ext. D 0.2m) with remains of a second earthen bank (Wth 4m; ext. H 0.1m) mainly reduced to a scarp. The enclosing inner bank and external fosse has been damaged on the E side when drainage ditches were cut into the monument in the 19th century.
