The National Monuments Service's description

Situated in an expanse of wet pasture. A stand of conifers is located to NE, bordered by a post and wire fence that clips the NE edge of the mound. A low, oval-shaped rise (7m NE-SW; 8m NW-SE; H 0.5m) of firm ground, most clearly defined on the NE-E side. Probing revealed shattered sandstone in charcoal-rich soil. There is a fualcht fia (MA019-204002) c. 25m to SW, a possible burnt mound (SL019-204001) c. 30m to SW, and a holy well (SL019-081) c. 70m to SW.
