The National Monuments Service's description

At a rath (SL012-068001-). The NW quadrant of the rath is separated from the remainder of the rath by a curving bank (Wth 3-3.5m; H 0.7-0.9m) which may have been faced with large stones. Constructed against the NW side of this bank, within the SE portion of the area it encloses, is a much disturbed rectangular house (14.5m E-W; 5m N-S) defined by a bank (Wth. 2.5m; int. H 0.7m; ext. H 0.5m) of earth and stone. Its internal ground level is lower than that outside. There is a break midway along the bank on the N side, and two breaks on the S side. There is another possible house (SL012-068002-) c. 10m to SE.
