The National Monuments Service's description
Located 2m to E of a holy well (SL012-067001-). A small stone crucifix (H 0.53m; Wth of arms 0.44m; Wth shaft 0.17m, T 0.007m) lies on the ground in the centre of a circle (diam. 2m) of loosely piled small stones. Carved in relief on one face of the cross is a depiction of Christ with simplified facial features and crossed feet. Diagaonal lines represent a loin cloth. The right arm of the cross bears the date 1749. The left arm, which has been broken off but lies adjacent to the cross, bears indecipherable symbols.
