The National Monuments Service's description
Not listed in either the SMR (1989) or RMP (1995). Not marked on the 1837 or 1913 editions of the OS 6-inch map. This is the first of a series of three huts or small houses (SL009-066001-; SL009-066002-; SL009-066003-) situated to the N of a relic field (SL009-003001-) and booley hut (SL009-003002-). On slight SE-facing slope in rocky mountain pasture. Views are excellent SE-S-SW but elsewhere obscured somewhat by higher ground. Small single-roomed house or hut (dims. unavailable) defined by wall footings (max H 0.1m; T 0.8m). Original entrance not recognisable. This is a post-1700 AD monument.
